Closest place right at the main street

Nice staff but the bathrooms are dirty, the parking lot smells like urine.

The hot foods cooked (baked chicken) are really good.

Everything at this location is fairly organized. My only complaint would be the freshness of the salads. Sometimes it looks expired. Also the seafood section doesn’t always have someone present to service you.

You know about Stop and Shop already, so I’ll just mention the special feature of this location…underground parking! When it’s 28 degrees and snowing, I really appreciate being able to push a cartful of groceries from the checkout line directly to my car in a dry, covered parking garage. The only thing I’d change about this store is to push closing time from 10pm back to midnight, to match other nearby Stop and Shop stores in New Rochelle and Mount Vernon.

This place was HUGE! Nice variety and fresh stuff. I was shocked to learn that they closed it down. Makes no sense at all!
