After hearing crunching sounds in our bedroom walls, we decided to call in a professional to eradicate those sounds. We called Jon from Native Wildlife Specialists for an inspection and quote. Jon quickly scheduled our inspection. He suspected mice were making the sounds. After meeting him, we felt confident in using him to rid our house of mice. Although he does and can use poison, he listened to our concerns and assured us that he could get rid of our mice without using poison.After inspecting the house, Jon informed us that the rock facing on our house allowed mice to run up the rocks and easily enter small gaps near the roof. He also noted that our garage door was not sealing at either end. While observing the garage door problem, Jon said he could make small metal “flanges” that attached to the garage door frame to seal the garage door at both ends. Upon examining the attic, Jon found a cache of Irish Spring soap bars. According to Urban Legend, this soap is supposed to keep mice out of your attic. This was not true because we definitely had evidence of mice in our attic.After hearing Jon’s assessment of how he would eliminate the mice, we felt like we had found the “mice whisperer.” Besides bringing his expertise to eliminate the mice, Jon came up with a plan that would avoid using poison by monitoring mousetraps in the house, garage, attic, and basement. Over a period of time, he removed the mice that were caught in the traps. After the traps no longer had mice, he closed up any holes mice could enter. For about a week, he monitored the house and found no mice. We have not seen or heard mice since his last visit.Besides ridding our house of mice, Jon was always communicative with us and always on time to monitor the mice at our house. His work was impeccable, and he took it upon himself to create a permanent fix to keep mice from entering our garage. We cannot say enough good things about Jon and Native Wildlife Specialists. If you want to eliminate pests in your house, no matter what the pest is, he is the consummate exterminator to call.

Can’t say enough great things about these guys. Prompt, came same day. Trapped a huge woodchuck that night. Made sure he was the 1 and only problem and made it so that future critters couldn’t use the space. Cleaned up after all the work was done. Polite and nice guys. Great experience.
