Tires fixing quality is good but weak customer service

We waited 2 1/2 hrs to repair a leaking tire that they installed 2 weeks prior. Upon arrival I was told there are a few cars ahead of me with no mention of a long wait time. When I checked back an hour and half later I received the same response. I asked how much longer and was told we close in an hour. I asked what does that mean for me and my tire?Honestly the service has always been unfriendly (for sport) and they act like they are doing you a favor. I would prefer to pay triple to get faster and friendlier service.I’ve been bringing my car here for years and it’s time to look elsewhere. I am sure they won’t miss my $40.

Very knowledgeable & great quality work. They are always busy & for good reason. You won’t be greeted when you walk in & chances are strong that you will have to wait to be helped. Have patience going in & know it will take some time but they will do a great job at a fair price. This native Texan highly recommends.

After a horrible experience with Riverhead Mavis Tire two days ago(1/9/21)I visited Southampton Tire today and was pleasantly surprised at the great customer service and very reasonable pricing. I hadn’t been back in years due to the rude customer service and inflated pricing from previous management. New management is still family but a pleasure to deal with. I will not hesitate to be back in spring for new tires.Thank you for a great experience.
