I don’t like leaving negative reviews because I know it can be detrimental to a business, especially a small one, but in this case I’m left no other choice. Please see pics.I dropped off my *new* clothing for Wash & Fold. When I came to pick it up the next evening I was not made aware of any problems, but when I got home I discovered that my new $35 shorts had tears and burns that were not present when I dropped them off. It looks like they got stuck in whatever machine was folding them and had to be pulled out. I also had to iron the remainder of shirts and pillow cases that were supposed to be folded because they looked much worse than when I dropped them off.When I attempted to follow up, they did not return my email (it has been 3 days since then). When I came back in person, they advised me that wash & fold was not guaranteed (though the garment policy printed on the wall does not exclude Wash & Fold) but promised to submit a claim to their insurance company and would contact me. After not hearing from them, I reached out and was met with questions like well how do you think this happened?. Their final resolution was to offer me $13.50, which isn’t even half the cost of the shorts.Though I was not expecting perfection with Wash & Fold, I certainly wasn’t expecting torn/burnt shorts and extremely wrinkled clothes. Quite unfortunate, considering I would have preferred to become a repeat customer.

I’ve been going to Sky Blue for wash and fold for a while now, and have been happy with them for that service—very convenient, since I live across the street.I recently bought a (cheap) new suit that I needed tailored in a short amount of time, so I brought it to the team at Sky Blue. They did expert work and made the cheap suit look amazing—and they got it done a day ahead of time.To top it all off, the staff has always been courteous, kind, and professional. It’s a great business and I’m always happy to support them. Highly recommend.
