I don’t understand why they would put someone so miserable behind the counter. The few times I have stopped at this location she has been there. She normally works second shift. She was texting feverishly on her phone standing behind the counter and acted like I was bothering her. I used to work in customer service and never acted this way towards a customer. I understand what it is like working in a gas station and did it for many years. I never treated any of my customers like they are a bother, no matter how busy I was. The other Speedway stores I go to never treat their customers like this. I think this location really needs to look who they have working for them.

There is woman who works here – I’m not sure if she’s the manager or not. But I’d hope not. She is older, gray hair, deep raspy voice. And she is the most impolite person I’ve come across here. This morning while coming in quickly to buy something before work, she stood behind me for three minutes making coffee instead of stopping what she was doing to cash out. I’ve worked in customer service in many different capacities – you DO NOT do that. Other than this, she has been consistently unpleasant. She doesn’t say hello, she doesn’t say thank you, she doesn’t say you’re welcome when YOU say thank you. I know that myself, and people I am friends with that stop there in the morning (or used to) go out of their way to go down the street to Sunoco because she is so unpleasant. Now that I really think about it, there is another girl there who is pretty much the same as well (perhaps related) who has reddish brown hair, and again no hello, no goodbye, and stands there like she is either high as a kite, hasn’t slept in a few days, or both. They used to have nice staff. Not anymore.
