Come in to pick up RxR, but was unavailable so I was able to have it shipped to me with no issues. The staff was very nice and didn’t rush my husband or I at all. The shop was small but cozy.

I visited the store about two weeks ago and have been debating about posting a review, I finally decided that I should. I have lived in Niagara Falls for about 10 years and never shopped at this fabric store as I never needed quilt supplies. However, I have been sewing vests and other types of garments lately and wanted to see if perhaps, this small quilt shop would have different or unusual fabrics, such as other small, independent vendors do. As I entered the store, the one older lady employee working was busy with another customer and glanced towards me with almost a scowl, other than that, she did not say Hi, or any offer any other type of greeting. The older lady I was with ambled about the store as she was not interested in buying anything. I was pulling out fabric bolts out, evaluating it, deciding if I wanted it; the usual things a person who is purchasing fabric would be doing. My lady friend did not even touch a bolt of fabric. The customer who present when we arrived finished her purchases and left. Immediately, the sales lady walked past me, over to my friend and asked her if there was anything she needed help with, very politely mind you. Of course, my friend who wasn’t buying anything said, No. I’m, not the one shopping. The sales lady walked back to the counter; again passing by me without saying a word. I continued to look at the various fabrics that were laid out according to color and perhaps patterns, I liked their fabric choices. The sales lady busied herself with putting back the bolts of fabric from the previous customer, general shop keeper tiding up, however, never speaking to me although I keep pulling out different bolts, carrying some in my arms at times. A third time, the sales lady walks past me, over to my friend again and starts trying to tell her about specials they are having on books and other items in the store. Again, my friend said, I’m not the one shopping.and the sales lady went back to the cutting counter at the front of the store, each time having to walk past me since it’s a very small store. I had been patient up to this point and decided that regardless if there was great fabric there, I was not going to be making any purchases there because of how the sales lady was treating me. I was going to leave without saying anything. As I walked towards the door I told the saleslady, I was initially very interested in buying many pieces of fabric as I am working on a few projects. However, I’ll never shop here nor stop here ever again because of the way you dismissed me multiple times. I left the store, my friend was steps behind me, and the saleslady said something to my friend that I couldn’t hear. When we got inside the car, i asked my friend what she said. My friend said the sales lady said in a very rude manner,Sorry, I didn’t know he wanted anything. She would have if she asked me, talked to me, tried to sell to me as she had with my friend. I am a male, perhaps that had something to do with it? Regardless if a customer is male or female, holding bolts of fabric, and looking at the fabric, that should serve as an indication that I am interested in making purchases.
