Such a terrible experience. I went looking for a wedding gown and my consultant was obviously unprepared as my appointment lasted just 20 minutes. I’m a street size 12, and yet every dress I was given was a bridal 10 or 12 (equivalent to a street size 6/8). Clearly the dresses weren’t going to fit but she kept grabbing bridal 10s that didn’t even go over my hips. I saw a dress that I LOVED and it too wasn’t my size. I asked if they could order a sample size from the designer (every other shop I had been to offered this) and I was told that wasn’t possible. I ended up driving to Williamsville and a different shop ordered the dress for me in the sample size and I bought my dress there. If your floor samples don’t range in size, just say that. Save your time and go elsewhere.
