Visited the Village Mercantile to pick up some goodies! The store had an open sign outside, as well as open flag, but a we’ll be back later sign in window, although the door was wide open. We were greeted rudely, and when another employer entered, the old woman with glasses said “go ahead and enter since apparently that doesn’t stop anyone else.”We had our hands full and were ready to checkout a good bit of items, but when I heard this we emptied our hands and decided to take our business elsewhere in town. Rude employees who clearly don’t need the business during this hard time. I told her she should lock the door next time to which she rudely laughed. Will never return.

Amazing variety. I find lots of nice surprises as well as stock items.

They have a good selection of home good. Many things range in price so regardless of income you should be able to grab something there if you can’t run to Walmart. Wish they had a little better selection of plus size clothing.
