Really enjoyed our visit even in freezing cold weather.

It’s so beautiful in spring. Azaleas are in full bloom. It’s a wonderful place to spend a few hours wandering around. It definitely feels like you are at an English manor.

Idyllic & always a delight, in every season! The extraordinary amount of constant work that must be done maintaining & tending to this huge property & its 10s (or 100’s?!) of thousands of flora & fauna never ceases to amaze me – bless & thank you to all the volunteers & employees that make this place so magically beautiful. My husband and I have been coming here for over 30 yrs; our most recent visit last wknd (mid-May) was terrific as usual – the veritable explosion of hundreds of azalea bushes in all sizes & colors, along w/a plethora of other flowering plants was nature’s fireworks on display in full regalia♡. And wonderful seeing all the different species of birds & critters who happily/luckily call this place home (SO many adorable ‘s scurrying everywhere!) – a great place for kids/families, couples or just yourself – can’t reccomend enough, truly 5☆’s!!

It a beautiful clean place, pretty blossoming trees full of color, a peaceful walk around the trails but nothing is open just yet, except a couple of bathrooms around the area. Also, as you can see in the picture, they took the woman from booth away and gave her job to a machine, it also accepts empire pass there which is pretty kool.
