Established in 2017 by Jason Hilton as a pop up comic and collectible shop, POP ROC expanded its offerings and became Rochester’s first cereal bar & cafe. While many thought he was crazy to open, after 3 years others began to copy and build businesses around their success. This place has the unique pleasure of having both having a fun and casual atmosphere and a professional and beautiful restaurant (at old location). Me and a few friends would always come here, order a few specialty bowls, and then play on their free to use Nintendo Switch. I have a lot of fond memories of this place, and very very reasonable prices that make it a haven for high schoolers like me. I was sad to see it was closing down, but am happy to see that they are going to announce a new location, if I understand correctly. I hope to share many more bowls with friends there in the future!

This place is epic. So much fun and the crazy cereal options are delicious. Amazing house coffee. Great supply of modern comics….and that they donate older comics to children’s charities is awesome.

Our favorite place to take our family. EVERYONE loves it. We love the diversity and welcoming atmosphere. Safety is always a concern in these times, but they are so clean and it’s evident safety is a priority.
