James St Wegmans is the best around. I’ve been to the others and one store in particular is too snooty for me. James Street has the best employees and THE greatest music.

Clear expectations of mask wearing compliance. Clean store. Well stocked, even for a Saturday night. Attractive displays. Lots of fresh ready made meal options from diverse cuisines with ready-to-eat cold, ready-to-eat hot, and ready-to-reheat options. Meat and fish departments had numerous ready-to-cook entries such as stuffed, breaded, or marinated items. Frozen section included a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan meals and entries at very affordable prices. Parking lot well lit. No hand baskets available during pandemic; but there are small carts. Store maintained a greeter at the door.

Wegmans has the most extensive, fresh produce anywhere. I travel an hour just to shop there. It is absolutely worth the trip. .
