Such a blessing to have a high quality Italian specialty store in the area.

I ordered food for the Holidays and was extremely happy with all the food, The Prime Ribs, Chicken Parmesan and Lasagna were all excellent. Since then I have ordered the Lunch specials and every one has been so delicious – My favorite is Monday with Chicken Parmesan – yesterday I brought the Meal Balls and there are not words good enough to describe that meal. My family has requested that I stop cooking and do more take out at La Favorita so I am thankful that the prices are very fair.

I’ve been here quite a few times and every time I go, I tell myself I won’t go back due to their pricing. This week was my final time. I got a chicken cutlet sandwich with lettuce and tomato and it was $12.99!! I got a small soda bottle and a 1/2 lb of macaroni salad and the total was almost $19.00 for a basic sandwich, small bottle of soda and 1/2lb of macaroni salad! I truly can’t understand why they would think it is ok to charge those prices without loosing business. Half the time the prices are just made up by whoever is preparing the food. I will not return. My suggestion is to drive to Ivarone for same or better quality food and at a much discounted price. Unless, paying $19 for something that would cost $12-13 elsewhere is your objective.

Such a blessing to have a high quality Italian specialty store in the area. You get what you pay for here and the bread is fantastic.
