ohmygosh i passed by here two days ago because i had to take my senior portraits for school. i was with my friend and we just passed by here and stopped to look at the one dollar books that were outside the store. we went in and oh wow the inside was so so cool!!! there was many unique and vintage things. my friend bought a cute ring there and i bought two book. the old grandpa, norman(?) im guessing from the other reviews, oh my god he was so sweet, he gave me and my friend discounts on the things we were buying because it was our first time at the shop he is literally just a sweetheart

I have lived a few doors down from G&N for almost 30 years, and so many of the dishes, tchotchkes, costume jewelry and furniture I have is from this store. You can find all kinds of odds and ends here and I never know what I will find. Norman, who runs this shop, is one of the kindest, loveliest human beings I’ve ever met. He always greets everyone with a smile (and often cake!), and he makes the neighborhood for me. Also, his window displays are AWESOME.

The stuff there is really nice and amazing prices the owner Norman himself is really nice and funny he keeps the place pretty organized but usually adults go in so if your a kid you should probably go in with your parent i have gone to his store since i was 7 I’m 15 now he is a very kind man
