In June, my wife and I went for a walk and discovered that on Wednesday’s, there is a great farmers market on Court Street in White Plains. We have made it our Wednesday morning ritual but now we drive since we live to buy the fresh peaches, apples, and delicious tomatoes from the wonderful Farber’s who are bringing their freshly picked produce in from their farms. In addition to the farmers, there is a knife sharpening vendor, who has rejuvenated our knives and gardening tools. They have vendors selling everything from vegetarian wraps to steak sandwiches. To our delight, the Farber’s are all masked and social distancing is strictly enforced. We have had no problems finding parking and it’s a great treat if you’ve been sitting in front of your computers working all day, to take a break and pick up the freshest and most delicious produce and fruits.

This is probably my favorite farmers market in Westchester County. A great selection of produce (and other goodies) to choose from and the quality and service are equal. I do have 2 favorite farm tables that I always buy from but I do shop other vendors as well
