5/29/2021 – I want to give a huge shout out to John, Gary and Wade for spending about 2 hours time with me today! After my extremely disappointing experience two weeks ago, I begrudgingly returned to the store to compare the phone I was stuck with and didn’t want with the iPhone 12 ProMax. With my experience today, I offered to update the poor Google review and give credit where credit is due. They earned an outstanding 5/5 star vote! Bottom line… I did have to pay the re-stocking fee on the phone I didn’t want (AT&T Corporate policy) but the tax on the phone was credited back. The guys also discovered I had a very old family sharing plan and was paying more than we needed to. Not only did I leave today with the phone I originally wanted, an Otter Box, a glass cover and a wireless charger (that I was going to purchase elsewhere) but changing plans made us eligible to upgrade my daughter’s 256G and my wife’s 128G phones for $8 and $3 per month respectively. We are also saving about $40/month from what we were previously paying! I now highly recommend making an appointment with these guys if you are in the market for a new phone… or three! Respectfully, CJH5/15/2021 – When you give a terrible review of your experience in response to a survey, why the hell would you ask to consider posting it as a google review. Is AT&T really that stupid? Apparently so. I had not even left the store when I realized my new iPhone 11 was not an 11 Pro Max like I wanted. The representative said, “Well, that will be a $55 restocking fee and $80 tax on a 12 Pro Max” on top of the $50 tax I already paid on the 11. So now I have a phone I don’t want for the next 30 months.
Uncharted History
As an avid treasure hunter and outdoorsman I use my phone a lot for GPS, looking up historic information on the go and logging my finds. I stopped in a while back to have my phone looked at and was assisted by a young man, who was very up beat, and personable. We talked about the outdoors, fishing and hunting while he was fixing my phone and he came through. I was on my way out of town and would have been lost without my phone. I would have purchased a new one but did not have time, nor did I do the research. After I get back from filming my show I will be back to get a new phone with all the bells and whistles he outlined. I am looking forward to having more power and options at my disposal while out in the field! I will be sharing the information with the other cast, crew, friends and family, its people and places like this that keep America running and help build strong bonds in our community. I received an upgrade to iPhone 11 from a 7 online. Gary at North Syracuse store was very helpful. My transfer glitched and he went through 4 phone calls/transfers until he resolved a “parked”issue. I have been a customer for over 13 years and used to only use the corporate store. They are gone so I’m very glad to find another great store and a very knowledgeable Manager in Gary. Thanks Gary great job.
