The Spectrum salesman got me signed up with a great promo, but when the bill came it was almost double what he had told me – it included a TV cable bill, and I don’t have a TV. People in billing said it was too bad I was misinformed, but it was my problem. There actually is a promotion now offering stand-alone internet for the rate I was promised by the salesman — but since I’m not a new customer anymore, they won’t give me the rate. If customer service won’t try to work things out fairly when informed that a salesman has lied to get the sale… I want nothing to do with the company. So I’m cancelling but still have to pay the first bill. Just another soulless corporation.
