First time at the Madison Ave store. Got there very last minute so everyone was preparing to close up shop. The gentleman who took my items Phil was nice and friendly even though it was past 7. He helped with doing all in his power he could do helping get a status update or raise one with accurate team. Great in store customer service. Only downside or somewhat of a annoyance is when I received an email stating an item I dropped off was a bow tie when in fact it is a tie. Other than that highly recommend checking out the store

Before the commercials, before the hype I loved the Real Real! When I dropped a lot of weight and my body was in the best shape of its life I knew I wanted to purchase high end items. I did a google search and somehow found The Real Real on Facebook. I join immediately and have been a fan ever since. Last year on my way to Paris my son and I flew out of NY and I had to go to the Madison Ave. store before heading to the airport. We only had a bit of time so hopped a cab uptown and stopped in. Since it was a Sunday and they were closing early we only stayed a few minutes but the staff was so sweet and helpful. I highly recommend shopping on The Real Real. Have not done any consignments yet but will update my review when I do.

The store manager needs to act in a more relaxed way (or perhaps watch the TRR ads a few times). A smile at least. We are talking about retail industry. I am saying this after visiting this location a few times and had a similar experience…I have been a long time customer and consigner of TRR but I I prefer the other two NYC locations with a more inviting ambience.
