I went into this store owned by Prime Communications (Not an AT&T corporate store) to pay my wireless bill on March 16, 2021 (Confimed by AT&T Customer Care). The employee accessed my account, told me my wireless bill was $205.22. I paid her and left. A month later, I was shocked to learn that the payment had never been applied. My new bill was over $400 including a late payment fee! I spoke to the rep named Max. I explained what had happened and he said “He would speak with his manager and work to get it resolved.” Max told me to expect a call from his manager later that day. No call. The following Monday, I speak again to Max and he gets his manager (Orlando Chamorro) on the phone who told me that “they are looking into the situation, he has “forwarded the case to loss prevention” and although he couldn’t give me a timeline, they were working on it. “They have a lot of stores so, checking the cameras can take some time” A month has gone by and at this point, I’m now positive that the employee pocketed the money and Orlando gave me the runaround. So, I go into the store again May 17, 2021 and I ask Max to get Orlando on the phone. At this point, Orlando won’t even speak to me. How many loss prevention cases can Prime Communications have that it takes more than a month to look at the cameras and see that I was in the store handing cash to the girl behind the counter?
