if you need storage, this place is STELLAR…. awesome … wonderful …. better than we could have hoped for. that’s the short review.long review.my child was a freshman at RPI. in feb. 2020 i told her she should organize summer storage for her stuff and that i had seen andrew from cohoes ny inside storage solutions recommended on an RPI parent page. she called him. she made a guess at the amount of stuff she had. he gave her a price. she got a reservation. done. and then there was a pandemic. she left RPI for spring break and never went back. we called andrew to sort out a new plan. we hired a private packer who packed her room. andrew sent someone in a truck to the dorm to pick up all of her belongings from our packer. he texted a photo of all the stuff the packer had given him. he stored it, for, at the time, who knew how long. fast forward …. or slow pandemic crawl forward, and it is the end of summer 2020 and, like all sophomores, my sophomore is not coming back to campus until spring semester (fingers crossed on that) and she needs some of that stuff …. and we are many states away in georgia. we concoct a scheme for our oldest kid in vermont to drive to troy and pick it up and drive it home for us. we text andrew. we couldn’t even give him an exact time or day at first. we gave him a ball park guess at what week we’d like to have the stuff picked up. yes. he can help. oldest daughter shows up on wednesday of the week. employees help her gather, sort, pack, pile, tie to the roof ….. and offered to donate the odds and ends that didn’t fit in the car. oldest child and all the stuff belonging to the youngest child just arrived home. andrew at inside storage solutions made everything much easier than i thought it would be. he is an awesome example of incredible customer service. if you need storage, use this company.extra tip for anyone moving or helping someone move to college ….. take less stuff. you don’t need much. being a minimalist is much easier. my youngest won’t be taking this much back to school when she finally gets to go back!
