2021 is the fresh start of 39 years of single family owned business operations. Come find us this summer on weekends serving ice cream and some foods items off our newly detailed ice cream wagon, we will be at Lakewood Vineyards and Scale-house Brewery every other weekend! Thru the month of April we are closed Mon-Fri for upgrades to the outside of our building . We will be fully operational May 1st.

Wonderful place. Nicest staff. Unique and extensive menu with Hershey and homemade ice cream. I had a tea berry shake and the best Concord grape pie ever! I’m hoping to get back to Watkins Glen soon, and I will be dreaming about the the silky lie bursting with Concord grape flavor and crispy crust with a hint of cinnamon until I do.
A Place for Little Sprouts to Grow
The Great Escape is a great escape! Besides the fact that the place smells delicious, they also carry Hersheys ice cream and many of their own homemade flavors. Building your own sundae is fun. We were won over by the extras, such as the chocolate covered key lime pie – to die for!I went vegan a few months ago and have been pleased that The Great Escape carries a variety of soy- and oatmilk based ice creams on a regular basis as well.
