It may not be as popular as the bigger museums in Manhattan , but it’s certainly worth a visit . The Panorama of New York City is truly amazing it’s on two floors with a great view from the glass floor. Its shows all the boroughs and goes from A.M to P.M the night view shows the city and all it lights including LaGuardia Airport and bridges. Check out the Tiffany Glass collection which has a video on the process of making the lamps .The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

Great museum that we got to explore for free. Interesting art exhibits and a cool scale model of the entire New York City.

The Queens Museum has been recently renovated. It is a fifteen minute walk from the subway. The building is very spacious, airy & not fatigue inducing.Of special note is the huge panorama of the city of New York. The permanent (I think) Tiffany lamp collection is quite impressive. And of course there is the normal revolving schedule of temporary exhibits.
