Hands down the best customer service I’ve had in town ever. I got the best advice while repairing the drain pipe of the bathroom sink. The advice, not only saved me time but assured me a work around not expressed in any YouTube DIY tutorial. The women at the counter suggested various pipe fittings and tools, which all came in handy. She also confirmed my monkey wrench was the absolute wrong tool to use. I highly recommend Shields Hardware as a choice in town or for plumbing advice.

As a first time propane buyer I paid a steep price for my lack of experience. Although I was warned that it’s more expensive to buy a tank with no exchange, I didn’t expect it would be twice as expensive as the same no-exchange full tank from the HD. Totally misleading explanation so be prepared and do your own research!
