My opinion of Big E Tires is good. I have gotten my tires from there i invested in snow tires just had them taken off and my other tires put on. I just wish this changing of tires would be not cost so much. Sometimes I wonder because your a woman do they take advantage??? Not sure

I wouldn’t recommend this shop to my worst enemy. I took my car in for an inspection and to get some brake work done. After having my car for a day, they call me to tell me I need a lot more work done than I was expecting…fine, it’s an older car and I understand they require a lot more maintenance and upkeep. I agree to the work and they tell me it’ll be a few days to get all the parts in and have them installed…again, totally understood and was fine with that.About a week after I dropped my car off I get the call to come pick it up and pay something to the tune of $1600 for what I was told would take care of all car maintenance issues I’d need for a while (outside the normal regular maintenance of tires/oil/brakes).Fast forward to a month after I got my car back… I noticed a gas smell and a small puddle underneath the car.Called Big E and they weren’t able to get me in for over a week, so I went to another shop as I didn’t want to risk driving with a possible gas leak.Told the other shop everything I had done and they let me know that my fuel line had been punctured and that because of the age/make/model of the car, it’d be nearly impossible to get them replaced.A week later I had to buy a brand new car and haven’t returned to Big E, nor do I have any intention of returning.I’m not sure if they intentionally dupe their customers into getting expensive work done or if they’re truly that oblivious…but the other shop lifted my car and let me see underneath, and there’s no logical reason a mechanic wouldn’t notice the fuel lines needed replacing (given that they found everything except the kitchen sink to replace on my car).Unless you know exactly what work your car needs or doesn’t….don’t trust this garage to tell you the truth.
