Social Profile :

The Rochester Model Railroad Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, expansion, and education of railroading, both model and full size. Our membership is given the opportunity to pursue, advance, and enjoy the railroading hobby. We are engaged in the construction of a large (2,400 square feet) HO scale layout. Our Seneca Valley Lines is loosely based on the operations and geography of the Lehigh Valley Railroad in the 1960’s. We’ve been around since 1939. Visit our website for more details.

A lovely surprise in the basement of First Universalist. When they have an open house, admission is $5, and there’s a shop to buy some model supplies. Not too much there for serious collectors, but good for kids as a knick-knack.

I stopped by here thinking that this maybe a retail outfit for trains. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was an actual club that meets at a Unitarian Universalist church which is a place I am very passionate about!! I was greeted by a very nice man named Brandon who took the time to show me the clubs layout … I was more than blown away to say the least!!! Great experience and I love seeing two things I am passionate about merged together.
