Not a large park but relaxing spot to look at the Hudson and the occasional passing train.

Leave it to Hudson to place their gothic lady to watch over you as you peep views of the river. A local shared that apparently this statue is of Saint Winifred who was beheaded by a king for not putting out. And in the place where her head rolled a spring sprang up. Supposedly this statue sits atop the place of an old spring and was meant to serve as a symbol of chastity to a city with a history of sex work. Is any of this true? I have no idea, but this statue is freaky and I like it.
