This place came through when I needed a shovel during the snow storm. I did see the other reviews and I can say the cashier I had didn’t have a mask but at least I had two masks and I kept my distance and wear glasses so I should be okay. She should wear a mask though. The guy who greeted me did have a mask though and he was very knowledgeable. I told him I need a shovel that would work best for me since I do not want to lift too much. I brought that and a lightweight ice pick. Mid range in price but these were high quality products and it is from a small business, which I love. I also had a great interaction on the phone with the guy who picked up the phone and who told me the store hours and what they had in inventory. I now have a go to hardware store even if it is a bus ride away for me. They also have Purell products not marked up in price, Lysol wipes, and much more. I also like that it is also off the A train too. Check this place out and buy local!

I’ve frequented this business as a shopper on and off the past 5.5 years. Mostly to have keys cut or to pick up one off items. Recently, I was in the process of cleaning up for moving and I ran out of black contractor bags. 10 minutes to close, I caught one of the young men pulling the gates down so they’d only need to lock the door upon exit and they allowed me inside to buy a box of bags without no complaint or hesitation. I really appreciated that. Some stuff, prices are high like $10 for Purell but to be fair, it’s the price in the market now. I’ve moved out of the neighborhood now, but I’d still stop here if I was in the area and needed something hardware related.
