His oldest son Aaron started in the business as a young boy. After attending Oswego State University he joined the business full tie in 1991 and became the President and Owner in 2002. I purchased a brand new Jayco Talon Toy Hauler in March. After our first trip in April, we discovered the battery was not functioning and the furnace was not working properly. We made an appointment at the Palmyra location and dropped the camper off for service. After 3 weeks, we were told that the battery was replaced and the furnace was fixed and functioning. We went to pick up our camper and the battery was completely dead and was never actually replaced. After speaking with the salesman and the technician again, they continued to accuse my husband saying that he switched the battery. Why would we switch the battery on a brand new camper? Finally, they agreed to replaced the battery. Now, we are camping again in 40 degree weather with our small child with no heat after we were told that was also fixed. We called the service department and their remedy was to “go purchase space heaters and call us next week”. I do not recommend Johnston RV, this experience has been one of the worst we’ve ever had!

Everyone here is extremely helpful and super nice. Our salesman David started our experience and we ended up finding a camper perfect for us. We purchased the orientation package and Dan made it worthwhile. Dan was patient and extremely knowledgeable. All of our questions were answered. Jeff was very helpful in explaining the finance portion of the purchase. This purchase was a pleasant experience and we will return.

Great experience on my new RV purchase. The whole team is great. I’ve dealt with the big dealers in the area in the past and felt like a nobody. Not only does Johnston have personable service with a hometown feel, I think that the brands they carry are better quality than most other places.
