Happy that this little outpost of the famous taiyaki cones is still in Flushing. Love taking my niece and nephew here for their cute and delicious cones.

I went there at around 3pm on a tuesday and they were closed. The flushing location…All other locations that are open are simply amazing!

Their customer service has become horrible lately. I used to love this place–both for the mochi doughnuts and the friendly staff–but when I went back today, they wrapped each donut with paper and then stuffed all of them into a small paper bag. When I asked them for a box so that the doughnuts wouldn’t get smushed (they used to give me a box whenever I bought four or more doughnuts), they said they were running out of boxes and couldn’t give me one. I explained that the doughnuts were a gift for someone, but they said they still couldn’t give me one b/c they were running low on boxes and were giving boxes only to people who bought at least six doughnuts. When I got home, I found that not only was the frosting on the doughnuts almost entirely stuck to the paper, but they had gotten my order wrong. In the end I couldn’t give the doughnuts as a gift b/c they were all smushed and the icing was mostly stuck to the paper. I’m never coming back here again! They obviously don’t care about their customers anymore.
