Although one would think Hannaford is just your average grocery store, the hannaford’s in Kingston has a very wide range of organic products throughout the store. Their produce is always in very good condition, they have fresh baked goods, a fairly large cheese department, an excellent meats and cold cut area, and fresh meats cut to order. The people working there are always very friendly which is a good sign – it means that they’re being treated well and that they enjoy their work. Most grocery stores don’t have such happy employees. The prices on the organic goods here beat the prices at any health food store around so it’s worth going there to see if they have the same products as the health food store before making a purchase. Also, the management is very receptive to any comments you might have to offer, which is unusual and very welcome.
