4 reviews of Impossible Dream “Beautiful store and absolutely friendly staff. I was able to score 1 zip up hoodie, and 4 pairs of pants for less than $4.

We get a ton of children’s books for a fraction of the price.

It’s clean, organized, and the staff is wonderful. The bargain basement would actually be a pretty cool idea of it was ever open. That being said I’ve never walked out of the store with anything in my hands. Generally not worth a visit unless it’s on the way to something else.

They have some great clothes! Great prices also!

Bought an antique quilt rack (holds blanket to be quilted) 10 days ago. When purchased on that Saturday, I asked it I could leave it and pick it up later. I was asked when I expected to be back. I said Tuesday (thinking The store was open on Monday) found out the hard way it’s not (my bad for not double checking but we haven’t been to the thrift store in a very long time and it use to be open all weekdays). Between the flu and weather I didn’t make it back until today. This $5 item was going to hold the quilts I am going to make my family with cloth of sentimental value. It was so exciting to find one so I don’t have to use the annoying hoops. So I go in today, very apologetic and ready to get my rack. But no rack. The lady behind the counter seemed flustered to help me. I asked and asked. Finally, the main lady (who has her back turned up to this point, finally helped when I flat out asked for help. She explained to me that my item had a pick up date of Tuesday and that they considered it a contract that I broke when I didn’t show up. That they are not a warehouse to store people’s goods. And that they resold the item on Wednesday as was their right to do because I didn’t live up to the terms and pick the item up in time. And furthermore they offer no form of refunds or store credit. This information was given bluntly.I was embarrassed and other customers were wide eyed like OMG. One shopper I recognized from my son’s last school, uncomfortable. I tried to voice my complaint about not being informed on purchase. With nothing to do, I exited.I get it. But this is a drastic change from what I expected from prior knowledge of the store. And it’s not to much to ask that the associate explain to me I must pick up the item or it will be RESOLD! That information should have been given.Shame on me for leaving the item 10 days. I get that I am responsible. But had they even hinted to this policy, I could have drove home with it strapped to the car.The customer experience….. Wow.
