My husband and I highly recommend the German Kitchen Center in Queens for your kitchen renovation. The staff is very knowledgeable, talented and responsive, engendering confidence in their abilities. Our main contacts were Wafaa and Valentina, but we also talked with Elizabeth, Aura and Roei at times. All work seamlessly together to ensure you have the kitchen design you want. They are all very personable, have a ‘can do’ attitude and are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. They were patient with our never-ending concerns and questions and we felt completely at ease dealing with them…so much so, we enjoyed our visits to the showroom.The only reason this is not a 5 rating is we found ourselves very involved in all aspects making sure the many details were coordinated and went as smoothly as possible. Despite that, as with most renovations, there is always the unexpected that can’t be controlled (e.g. stove gas pipe in the way, heat riser pipe hidden behind the old pantry, sink that barely fit, but finally did, etc.). The staff went above and beyond and were very quick to do everything they could to help resolve these situations. This did result in some delays coordinating with the various contractors, but we all worked together as a team and it all came out amazing! We love our new kitchen and having finished just before the COVID shutdown in NY, we’ve gotten to know it intimately quickly!

The entire staff from German Kitchen design was very friendly and patient. Our designer Valentina help us designed a beautiful and elegant kitchen which both my wife and I loved. This has been the most painless and fun part of our home renovation.

This was my first time here. Up to now I’ve been disappointed by almost all German restaurants across this nation. This place managed to not quite do that. The sour rye wheat bread (from Firestone bakery in Emeryville) was almost exactly as I remember it growing up as a kid in Germany. My dinner was meatballs with mashed potatoes and creamed veggies. The mashed potatoes were runny like instant potatoes but tasted like real ones. The veggies were just right and not over cooked and tasted great. The meatballs were not what I expected but then again every region in Germany prepares the same dish just a little bit differently. Personally I didn’t care for these meatballs.
