First let me say i don’t care about fancy hair at all. Just want them to be cut.They mostly do a good job. Sometimes great. Sometimes i don’t like it much. In all cases, i think they’re professional, just that sometimes i like the end product and someone’s not 🙂 Mostly, i tell them, do your best and surprise me. So maybe that’s why.They have online reservation system but walk-in is usually fast and you wait for 10 mins max.They have long opening hours and have many locations. I think i mostly go because it’s convenient.

If I could do more than one review, they would probably all be five stars.Mary M is amazing. Whenever my young daughter and I get our hair done, I request Mary. She is great with everyone in the shop; customers, customers’ children and the other stylists. I recently saw her three times over the course of 2 weeks and everytime that I saw her she was friendly with everyone and did a fantastic job with customers’ hair. She did such a great job with my daughter’s hair that I took a picture of the two of them together and posted it here. At my two appointments I had my hair cut with layers, then had highlights and low lights added to it. I wanted before and after pictures of the coloring, so Mary took pictures, including some in-between ones and shared them with me. I love the way that my hair turned out with the cut and coloring, and have received compliments on it from my friends and family (whom never notice my hair cuts).I strongly recommend the Cost Custters at 4700 Vestal Parkway East, in the University Plaza. The stylists are usually great, the prices are fair, more than fair depending on who you get, and the wait times aren’t usually too bad.

Went in for two guys cuts and a cut of my own. They were super friendly & had us done in no time! They listened to my concerns with my hair and gave me all the best recommendations. Anyway, a few days later, I went in asking Lizzy to get me back to my natural color. My hair was over processed with box dye, full of red tint and several others, and down to my lower back. She did absolutely amazing and surpassed my expectations. She will get my business again! Thanks for all your hard work, ladies!
