I absolutely love this place! It’s filled with old vintage books to new books. Make sure in the winter you bring a jacket. The basement and second floor gets cold. You have to just spend time in this store looking around. There isn’t really to much organization besides genre of books, but it’s so worth it! The owner is really nice and fair pricing! It’s a good spot to sit down and read as well! Please do yourself a favor and check this place out if you love to read!

Pros: First time there. Huge and diverse selection of books. No matter what you’re into, you’ll find something for yourself. Amazing place, three floors, and many different rooms and sections. There’ a drum set upstairs, stage, pianos, and special floors and rooms for book categories. I bought two used Malazan books for $3 each, a steal. The store has been there for 91 years and so has a really nice old timey smell, feel, and features to it with winding shelves and walls of books that allow you to get lost in it. The cats were really cute and friendly.Cons: The couches and pillows were pretty dirty, though initially tempting, we didn’t want to sit on them. When you want to check the other floors you have to find the owner and ask him to see it and he has to guide you there, turn the lights on, and so on which made us feel like a hassle despite the reassurances by the owner to the contrary. Might be because it was near closing time so tale that with a grain of salt. The upstairs was pretty cold so we couldn’t really stay long up there.Sidenote which could have affected our experience: we came in around 30 minutes before closing but Jeff, the owner, was very accommodating and showed us around.

This is an amazing Labrinth of what has to be the biggest book selection in Western New York! The owner is very kind and eager to help you find what you’d like. The environment is very cool and bohemian, see if you can find the drumset, the DiCamillos cap, the vintage fire extinguisher, the coffin, the finds are an adventure in themselves! Wonderful place, asset to the city
