In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Saratoga Springs, NY is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. Service was very good, and food was great!Appetizer of green bean fries were soooo good (no pic, they disappeared too fast lol!)Caesar Salad with grilled salmon was excellent, although a bit pricey for a salad ($15.29)JD Whisky Burger was perfect, medium well, yet verry juicy ($12.49)Chicken Fingers were great as well ($14.28)Fries are the best! But not bottomless..Strawberry Lemonade was good, but had a strong taste of frozen strawberries from the supermarket, and $.50 refills.Red Robin blows them away with both bottomless fries and free refills on all drinks (except alcohol), and their strawberry lemonade is literally fresh, with chopped strawberries.Overall experience here was great, food was very very good.. our waitress Sierra was attentive and prompt, and very professional and personable.

My husband and I had the best time tonight enjoying dinner and Trivia. ( Thursday is the evening I. highly recommend, Matt the Trivia DJ was awesome throughout the game, making TGIF such a memorable experience). Our server Sierra was such a delight, and gave us great drink and entre’ suggestions while being both fun and professional, She was the highlight of our dining experience for sure! We had their signature potato skins as an app, entree’s choices were a shrimp and chicken pasta dish, and a cobb salad. The chicken was grilled to perfection, and all the veggies, and cheeses really fresh. Very pleased with our selections, and kudos to the kitchen staff….

The food looked so fresh and hot. Was amazing! Big portions ..plus it was one of the girls birthday ( employee ) and they gave us each a piece of cake. Totally awsome staff…. Plz remember to tip your waitress!!!
