Helpful staff, great selection of meats, fruits & veggies.

A bit pricey but quality of products and freshness is money well spent on.
Harlan Harris
Pretty good produce, and small but decent cheese, meat, and fish departments.

I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were. The staff was pleasant, polite and very helpful. The security guard saw me with my arms foll and came with a basket. The ladies at the bakery helped me getting a cheesecake and even the manager came with bags when she saw me struggling with my goods. Great store, choices and prices.

This is the only location of theirs I have visited many times in the last decade. The place has always been expensive and there is no reason to go there if one is looking for a bargain. However, it’s a good place to find a variety of good quality products under one roof. I have not met the family who owns the business so I have nothing to comment on that but I have to say I was caught off guard when I realized there has been a recurring in human cashiers in favor of automated checkout machines recently. This is not what I expected from what I thought was a family owned neighborhood business. I am less inclined to shop there now.

Great grocery, I’ll give them that. I’ve shopped often for organic food and jeni’s ice cream. But their flowers are so over priced and always a huge disappointment!!!! Two Valentine’s days in a row my sweet hubby got me flowers and sadly both times the flowers looked beautiful but once I cut them out of the wrapper, they were wilted, dying and MOLDY!!! After last year I told my hubs not to EVER get flowers from BF again, due to the high price and the quality, and to go to Trader Joe’s bc who doesn’t love beautiful roses for 6.99-9.99? Unfortunately bc of work and timing he wasn’t able to get to Trader Joe’s and sadly had to get the flowers from BF. Molded hanging by a thread sunflower, wilted hydrangea’s and when handling the roses over 20+ petals broke off from 3 of the 6 roses. $27 down the drain. Called to inquire what the return policy is and of course not refundable but when they look like this….shouldn’t something be done. See photos for the utter disappointment.
