Probably the best BBQ place in the area. They have a very good selection of meats including pulled pork, regular/moist brisket, sausage and more. Also, there’s a good selection of sides including coleslaw, beans and corn salad. Strangely, no mac and cheese is offered though.The meats are great, moist on the inside, well cooked outside and flavorful. Sides were good as well. Pricing is good for BBQ, with a large meal with about 1.5 pounds of meat and a beer costing about $30.The place is clean, has plenty of parking and plenty of seating at large picnic-type type tables. There’s a large sink outside of the bathrooms to wash your hands which is convenient.Will definitely return once in the area.

Country meals always rich in salt and butter. This Texas BBQ restaurant is no exception…. Known for their smoked beef brisket. Half BBQ CHICKEN Tasty, CHICKEN Moist, CHICKEN Tender, and the seasoning flavor well; CHICKEN Lean…. NO! I would have preferred skinless non greasy chicken. 4 stars for a reasonable price meal, clean atmosphere and all round country vibes. Oh meal comes with 4 slices of bread and dipping sauce of your choice.

My wife and I ate at Rudy’s for lunch today; she loved her loaded baked potato with turkey.I ordered 1/2 pound of moist brisket and specifically asked that it be individually sliced; unfortunately, it was not individually sliced, and I received 1/2 pound of beef in one “semi moist” dry lump.I have been to Rudy’s many times before, and I am convinced that the quality of the meat is “hit and miss”.This is most unfortunate because my father-in-law is celebrating his 100th birthday on May 12, and I was very seriously considering ordering everything needed for the party from Rudy’s.However, after this last experience I think I will try “ Longhorn”.
