I wish I could say the same for the staff at the Deli & Meat / Seafood area.

The people that work at the service counter are rude.

Great store! Food wise they have everything you need. Prices are good as well. They have your healthy options and the fun not so healthy options. They have a good meatless meat section for vegetarians like us! Love their produce. It’s fresh and tastes great. Good variety of fruits both organic and regular. Great options for juices, both healthy/organic along with the traditional ones we all grew up with.

I moved to Farmers Branch and this is the closest Kroger to me. I wanted to like it, especially since it is so big. But it all starts in the parking lot. Good luck! Every time I go, I am scared of being hit by the people not paying attention or a grocery cart. Then when you walk to the store and see a bunch of carts sitting outside. I have learned that those are all carts that have been damaged or don’t work properly, so they just sit outside in a dead cart lot. When you get to the entryway where carts usually are, there are sometimes none or like 4 of them that you have to race to before they are all snatched up. In the store, I feel I am playing dodge cart with everyone. For being such a large store, it is always packed no matter what time of the day you go. The seafood counter reeks to high heaven and makes me gag (I do NOT buy seafood there) and if you want to get any meat from the deli, be prepared to wait for at LEAST 20 minutes as they have the slowest people behind the counter I have ever seen. When you are finally ready to check out, there is always always a long line. Sometimes I go elsewhere just so I don’t have to go to this Kroger.

This store does not maintain their shopping carts at all. It’s a miracle if you find one without a broken wheel or some other issue. And you usually have to get one from the parking lot as they never seem to bring them in. Checking out is usually bad too. Not enough cashiers and lines down the aisle. They try to force you to use self check out. I was there with a full cart of groceries and my arm in a sling from surgery. An employee was trying to make people use self check out even after they told her they didn’t want to. She didn’t seem to understand that a full grocery cart and only having 1 good arm was not going to work in self check out LOL! Oh, and be prepared to bag your own groceries. They don’t seem to hire baggers any more. Over all, shopping here is unpleasant. But the store is usually pretty full so I guess management doesn’t care.
