I recently went to the emergency room and the nurse and the doctor were very great in the beginning however once they let my room i become invisible. I was put on a potassium drip which was going take some hours. After a while I started to get cold and had to use the restroom. I called out for assistance due to having an IV and no one came. I called out again 20 minutes later. I called over a period of two hours 6 times and no one came until it was time for me to be discharged. The last two times i called they picked up and canceled the call light. I asked for a supervisor and her response was they had a life or death situation. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this hospital.

Want to spend 6 hours waiting to see a DR in the ER? Then this is the place for you. Major lack of concern and empathy shown by nurses and a nonchalance by the Drs that was disconcerting. Instead of waiting, if there is a next time, I’ll just bleed out at home where at least I won’t be cold.
