I dropped off a USPS package here over a week ago along with some Amazon returns. The counter clerk assured us that they would get the package to USPS as a courtesy, they even provided a receipt of scan in, which I still have. It’s been over a week and USPS says they never received the package. I put an inquiry with USPS, but since it was never scanned in their system, I can’t prove it ever got to them. USPS will not honor insurance claims unless it’s been scanned in. I’ve called this UPS store twice now and they say they can’t do anything because “they wouldn’t keep that package around and a week later they don’t have records”. I can prove they took possession of the package from the receipt. I’ve even called USPS. They say it’s on The UPS Store because they never received the package to scan in so there’s nothing they can do either. I’m very disappointed because it seems this store won’t even begin to take responsibility for a package that was in their care. I will be attempting to contact the manager or owner, but judging from the phone calls, theres no process for this.
