I’m not sure if it’s because the properties are inexpensive or what but this management company operates like slum lords. They will not answer the phone for you or warn you when work is being done to the home you’re in.I feel inclined to provide an example. Most recently work was done to the roof, we were not notified. The company threw sticks and wires all over the yard and never cleaned them up. We have a toddler who plays in that yard. Additionally, the property manager never checked the work after.

At the beginning, our experience was great. Application process and move in was no trouble at all, even the 2 issues we had were tended to immediately.Moving out has been a completely different story. During the middle of our lease agreement the company changed and switched to iRent, which has been more than frustrating to deal with.A month and a half before moving out I started trying to reach out to Andrew to let him know we would no longer be renting. I didn’t receive a reply for almost 2 weeks in which he said he would send me move out instructions. Another week passes by and still no instructions, so I reached out to him again. His response was simply the move out instructions and no apology for the delay.It’s been 2 months since we moved off the property and the deposit check still hasn’t been corrected and sent to us. I’ve had to email Andrew to constantly remind that our business deal still hasn’t been finalized as he continues to accept new business deals. Of the $1,000 deposit, Andrew and his contractor seen we were only fit to receive $175 of it back, charges including repainting the house, cleaning, and damages (states as that, no further detail to what paint, damage, and cleaning needed to be done). As part of the move out instructions, we were to hire a cleaning company to professionally deep clean the house which we provided a copy of the receipt as requested and still got charged cleaning fees. We were also deducted for every single nail hole (as documented in the move out photos we were provided) although damages to walls were noted in our Move In Inventory.I’m disappointed in the service I’ve received from someone who everyone claims is a man of good faith. We were legally robbed by Andrew and the iRent company.I hope this review helps someone. Document EVERYTHING on your move in inventory, down to the nail hole (because I promise they will if you don’t). Keep track of your timeline, Andrew is obviously a busy person and can’t tend to prior tenants. Hopefully some of my deposit canGo towards hiring someone who can help him and his incredibly busy schedule.
