My children and I have been using this pharmacy for years. I am not sure if there has been a complete change in staff recently or what exactly is going on, but this pharmacy is awful anymore. Let me explain, I have NEVER had issues with preauthorizations or assistance with medications that may be out of stock. I have been trying to get a medication for my four year old son for almost a month now. I even switched his ENT doctor who prescribed the same medicine we never got ahold of. I’ve called his insurance, his doctor’s nurse, and this pharmacy. Everyone has been knowledgeable, kind, and helpful throughout the process, except for this staff. My 4 year old son has to have this medication before his surgery in seven days. I called his insurance. The insurance called this pharmacy to switch his ear drops to the “preferred” brand that his insurance will cover. His insurance took me off hold after speaking with the pharmacy and tells me that ACCORDING TO THE PHARMACY the new medication needed to be ordered and would be there today by 3pm. I call this pharmacy after speaking with his insurance to CONFIRM the information. You guys said everything went through, that it would be ready by 3 the next day. Well, this morning I look at our online account with Walgreens, and it says that his medicine is ready for pickup, so we drive over there only to be told the same thing we were told a month ago, that they have the medication on back order and pretty much have no idea when they will have it. I have been kind and patient with this pharmacy throughout the whole process, and even so, I’ve been hung up on, cut off, told to call my insurance, that it’s not the pharmacy’s problem. I literally didn’t lose my sh*t until today, a month later after being told the medicine is on back order when the pharmacist, or who ever I spoke with yesterday, said it would be ready by 3pm today. I thought when I checked my account his medicine for some reason came in early, before 3, but no. They don’t even know when they’ll have it. This is after the pharmacy told me yesterday it would be there at 3. I don’t know what else to do but call his doctor, switch pharmacies, and never use this Walgreens to pick up medication again. I mean it’s not like it’s cold medicine. My son has to go in for surgery, and this staff acts like they could care less, so just keep that in mind if you’re looking for a pharmacy for your children. Hopefully management sees this review and makes changes, but maybe management is to blame. Who knows at this point.

I walk in from Traveling from San Antonio Texas to visit Family in Houston Pasadena Texas 4 hours driving. When I walk in I was not greeted the frist person I saw did not greet me. I ask him were can i find a cable for my phone he pointed his finger towards the wall so I guess I am suppose to know were at . I said can you help me. He said I just call someone ask him again are you sure there’s someone here.. why don’t you help me you work here right.He said someone will be here so I waited. Finally the young man did not have a mask I was not treated right. I will not walk back in there again. The Walgreens in San Antonio Texas is always greeting people i always love going into Walgreens they have a different way here in Pasadena.No management ,No social appearance no greetings I ask him what is your name he said oscar why were you not here how many people are here he answer 4. I told him iam going to make a review on this store. He said oh yea……
