I’ve been trying to find a wooden trunk chest for half a year now to store my blankets in. Sales ads, Craigslist, Facebook, eBay, Amazon, you name it. Everybody wants too much money, and either expect me to carry it by myself or will charge 3x as much to ship it. On a whim while driving by Goodwill I decide to stop in for a few renewed shirts or maybe a few cute dishes. I like dishes that don’t match so long as they stack well because changing up the eatery can brighten my day. Near the front door is MY chest. Instantly I know it. This is the one. It’s huge, kinda unique, not tacky, and seemingly very sturdy. So! How much is MY chest going to cost me? Even shabby looking used ones on Facebook at less the size were going for $100 or nearly. But noooo! Not MY chest! MY chest, which someone even brought out to my car and loaded into my back seat for me, was only $39.99.
