Most of the dollar general stores is so cluttered and their is so much trash out front it’s sad.. but I went in the dollar general in the town square shopping center and as I walked down the refrigerator section, I knew this was going to be a different experience, the manager Karen has out did herself in this store every aisle was so neat and it was easy to find what I needed , I bump into Karen and I had to tell her what a great job she is doing.. and it’s a little out of my way but I’m going back to her store I hope I can post a pic and see if everyone will agree, ms Karen you have out did yourself and deserve more than a pat on the back.. keep up the good work.. she most definitely needs a raise for her hard work…I give her 10 stars

I realized I needed to go to the store at the same time I realized it was closing in 45 minutes. Yikes! So I got there with less than 30 minutes before they closed. I was the last customer to check out(naturally) & both of the young ladies that were there, never once asked me to hurry or reminded me it was time for them to close. Both were polite, helpful & treated me like the first customer instead of the last. I can honestly say that the Dollar General in Cleveland, Alabama have always put customer service first. I worked with the public for 30+ years, so I know fake when I see it. Unfortunately some of their sister stores can’t get the same praise. Most of the time it’s hit or miss on the type of crew member working that day. So, a big thanks to the Cleveland, Alabama group & just keep on doing what you are doing.
