Review Summary

Forced to go elsewhere. About a year ago I discovered a long running accounting error with my cylinder rental. I brought the error to the attention of the local store and provided them with documentation but after several months the problem was still unresolved. I finally contacted an area manager who was very responsive and helpful and received a significant refund check for over charges. At that point, I made sure my account was paid in full, returned all my cylinders and took my business elsewhere due to the local store’s failure to address their own mistakes. Now, six months later, I begin receiving invoices from AirGas for rental charges on cylinders that I returned months ago. I again contacted the local store and was basically told to prove that the cylinders I currently have were from another vendor. I later returned to the store with documentation proving my cylinders were not from AirGas. At no point has the local store offered any apology for their mistakes or my inconvenience. I realize that we all make mistakes but I would expect the local store to own and correct them.
