CHECK YOUR STATEMENT!! We had over $100 in double charges there recently. Told the clerk, who said he would have the owner call us. He never did, so I checked again with the clerk, who had no information. We have to go through the fraud dept at the bank to get our money back. Wrecked a 14 year relationship. Now I warn everyone who will listen to beware of the Sunshine Market. I have seen one visiting member of the owner’s family (apparently) who was working behind the counter try to charge me for coffee I had not purchased. Called him on it, and he said sorry, force of habit. Pretty shifty. Do that a few dozen times a day and one can hit the casino. Watch your wallets!

Stood in line to order food for 5 minutes. Was never acknowledged or spoken to. The man behind the counter acted as though he didnt want to sell anything. This is my last time to visit this store at long as he works there.

I had a bad experience with the night-time clerk who works at the Sunshine Food, located at 400 US-69, Denison, TX 7502, last Thursday, March 31, 2016 at approximately at 5:00 p.m. I had taken a Bush Signature Tall Boy from the cooler, and it got puncture by the rack that secures the drinks. It sprayed beer all over me. Now, this is not the first time it had happened, and it had been reported to the clerk once before. So, it should have been taken care of by the clerk and repaired by the store. When I went up to the clerk to pay, drenched in the spray from the beer, I asked him if I was the only one this was happening to, and he very rudely, and I want to add, in front of all the other customers waiting in line behind me, said that no, there were others, and he just could not understand Why YOU people can’t just lift up and pull the beer out!’ This not only insulted me, but it embarrassed me, and I told him I would just start going back to the store I normally trade. He very rudely said, THANK YOU, YOU just do that! Well, I lost it, at that point, and against my better judgment, walked out the doors, looked around and uttered a very impolite, yet polite expletive to him, and left. I would not trade with that Exxon Sunshine Food Store, even if I were running out of gas!!
