We went to watch A Quiet Place Part 2 which is, as the title suggests, a quiet movie much like the first one. We were seated next to a large family with young children, who talked throughout the whole film. The adults weren’t much better with their phones ringing. The father even took out his flashlight at one point to look for something. I wish Cinemark would try to uphold the theater experience. This was our first time back in a Cinemark in years and there wasn’t even an ad reminding people to be respectful and turn off their cellphones. There were, however, three guilt tripping ads thanking us for being back in a theater. Honestly, the pandemic is only one reason I hadn’t come back. It was knowing that the audience often ruins the experience (and why spend money for a bad time?). I hope Cinemark starts having theater checks to make sure guests aren’t on their phones or talking and won’t be scared to ask people to leave. It was a nice theater but I’m not planning on coming back.

It was a great experience enjoying a movie after a long, long time. We watched Monster Hunter. The theater was clean with access to antibacterial gel all around the lobby area. Right after we left the a group of dedicated staff enter the room with gloves, face and all the necessary cleaning supplies to wipe every seat in the theater. Good job to the team and management.

I purchased tickets online via a ticket website and redeeming them at the theatre was very convenient. The service at the concession was very bad. No employees were in sight and there were multiple groups waiting to get food. The chairs are very nice in the theatres but the volume was a little loud.
