Great store for propane refills. The price is better than most and the service is fantastic. They have a good selection of yard work tools that may cost a little more than Walmart but they are solid tools that won’t break on you. Awesome selection of pet foods and animal bedding at a reasonable price.

Poor Customer Relationship Practice!!A few months ago I purchased some lawn fertilizer at Country Max. I noticed that the amount charged looked like an error. I had a “coupon” which offered $4.00 off each bag of fertilizer, however this was not applied to my purchase. When I inquired about this, a manager came out to the register. She looked at the ad which I brought, and indicated that the “sale” did not begin until the next day…so rather than having to request a refund and return to the store the next day to Re-purchase the fertilizer and get the $4.00 off, and not wanting to make another trip to the store again, I walked away from her (the manager)…thinking that she would stop me and offer me the sale price, resulting in “a happy customer”, she let me walk! She saw that I was visibly upset but let me leave the store anyway. Well, I trust that it was worth $4.00 and loose a customer. I haven’t been back to the store since. I do support the local business community, however if a store manager cares so little about providing good customer relationships, then I will need to do business with the big box store. Sorry Country Max… hope this is something you can improve upon!

The guy who helped me was named Joe? and he loaded my car very kindly. He was careful not to damage anything and made sure everything was packaged neatly where I wanted in my car.
