No visit to the old stomping grounds is complete without stopping by Hoyer’s for a hot fudge sundae. The entire NRHS tennis team would stop there before our matches for a little carb-loading.(g) Makes me wanna hop on a plane for a hot fudge sundae run. This is what I love about the East Coast..you can go back to the same restaurant after half a century and it’s still there serving up the same great chow.

Nice place to get ice cream but the owner is a bit rude and unfriendly. He always seems grouchy especially if there is an miscommunication with the order. I had incident with him and even offered to pay for the mistake but he kept up the bad attitude and snarky remarks. I have seen him do the same to other customers. I keep going because my family likes the ice cream, that is the only reason I give him my business
