It was a very friendly atmosphere. As soon as I walked in One of The employees knew I was looking for something and asked if she could help. She directed me immediately to the correct ilse. I need it something in the seafood department and they were friendly as well! When I went to check out. They only had the self checkout . I have severe arthritis It takes a lot for me to do this and this sweet young lady came and saved the day I’m very thankful that she helped me and had a sweet smile to go with it! My niece was graduating from Jemison High Scholl and we planned a celebration at our church afterwards. The ballons that we wanted had to be ordered as Winn-Dixie and Walmart didn’t carry them. I called WD to ask if they would help me out if I paid for the helium and blow them up for me. They replied NO, I didn;t purchase them there. I said Oh.Walmart doesn’t have a helium pump so after thinking I decided to call WD back. I then ask if I paid for balloons at there store but got my filled instead and paid the price would they help me out. Again, I was told no.I ask to speak to maybe a manager and was told produce handled this and I was talking to the person in charge but wasn’t given their name by their choice.I called the next closest store which was Publix in Calera and they were so willing to help my niece celebrate her day.Winn Dixie I know you could care less but you lost this customer for life. I have done business with you for YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope others will see this too. What would it have hurt to blow up :2: ballons. It wasn’t 20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 ballons cost you a customer and a bad review.

Good clean grocery store with nice employees. They also carry Samuel Adam’s seasonal beers and other craft beers. Their deli plates are really good during lunch.
