Beautiful well preserved pre civil war era house. 75% of furnishings original to the house. Everything very genuine and original. Out tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable not just about the house but the whole area. Many things in that house are one of a kind. Very historic.

We were not allowed to tour, because OTHER PEOPLE had been known to TOUCH things in the home that they weren’t supposed to touch. Therefore, it is now closed for touring to everyone. VERY disappointing as i had company from Missouri that i wanted to see it.
